Assignment 7: Night and Color

Xiaojing Fu: LOOK

This photograph meets requirement 5: Color as a pictorial.

This shot was taken in Castro Street in SF. The crossing lines were very interesting, and the yellow color was particularly outstanding. I also used photoshop to change the whole picture into black and white, and select the yellow part out in a different layer and leave it as it was, and created this image.

It might look better if I had a wider lens and could capture more of the front scene. I tried to step back further, but there would be distracting elements in the image, so I ended up choosing this one.
