Assignment 8: Portraits

Joe

Joe Landry: Double Exposure

I took this double exposure of a friend outside. For the first shot, I made her face slightly toward the sun to get her face a sort of rim lighting. I made sure to underexpose the shot so I got everything but that rim light to be black. I then took a picture of some tree branches branching from right to left, and merged them using an in-camera feature. With some playing around in photoshop, I settled on a black and white image after I removed the translucent treebranches on the right of her face.
