This outstanding collection of digital photographs taken on the Stanford campus and around the San Francisco Bay Area and California, nicely demonstrates some of the optical effects described in M.G.J. Minnaert's classic book, Light and Color in the Outdoors. Don't neglect to read Min's captions; they're very informative.
