Volume visualisation for anatomical atlases

Abstract

Medical volume visualisation has turned out not only to be useful for clinical applications, but also for building interactive anatomical atlases. The talk will cover

• aspcts of relating descriptive knowledge to volume models which is necessary for atlases
• aspects of rendering RGB photographic data, as they are delivered by the Visible Human project.
