Will of Adam Koller, 3/24/1841 Will witness 12/2/1845 Will probated 2/25/1851 Attempted transcription (by David Koller, 13-Jul-2007) from a partially legible photocopy of microfilm from York County Heritage Trust, WILL-T-376: In the name of God Amen, I Adam Koller of Shrewsbury Township in the County of York and State of Pennsylvania, being of Good health and body and of sound and disposing mind and memory (Praised be God for the same) and being desirous to settle my worldly affairs ... [?] ... and capacity so to do, Do make and Publish this my last will [and] testament, herby revoking and making void all former wills by me at any time hertofore made, And first and principally I [?] my Soul into the hands of my Creator who Gave it and my body to the earth to be interred at the discretion of my executors herein after named. And as to such worldly estate wherewith it has pleased God to entrust me I dispose of the same as followeth, first it is my will that my beloved wife Elizabeth shall have the use and control of all my Estate Real and Personal as fully as I hath in my lifetime to collect (Debts and to pay just debts and costs and all that during her natural lifetime. And then after her decease the personal estate shall be praised and the goods sold at public sale and my Real Estate wherever it shall lay shall then also be sold either at Public or Private Sale so as it will be to the most advantage to my heirs herein after named and the Deed or Deeds my Executors or either one of them doth give for any of my Real Estate shall be as valid in law as if it was given by my self in my lifetime, and then out of the proceeds arising from the sales of my Real and Personal Estate, first shall the just debts (if any) and costs be paid and then the Remainder of Said Proceeds, shall be divided into four equal parts; one equal fourth part thereof I give and bequeath unto my son Joseph Koller, one other equal fourth part thereof I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Magthalena entermarit [?] to Daniel Koller, one other equal fourth part thereof I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Elizabeth entermarit [?] to Jacob Ruhl, and the other equal fourth part thereof I give and bequeath unto my Son John Koller, or to their legal Representativs. and I nominate and appoint my said son John Koller and my son-in-law Jacob Ruhl to be the executors of this my last will and testament or the survivors of them. In witness whereof I the said Adam Koller have hereunto set my hand and seal the Twenty-fourth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and forty one.
