This link http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~cfbush/html/dat162.htm seems to suggest that Mary Magdeline's maiden name was also Koller. My dad points out that in the Koller family bible, this marriage is also listed as "Daniel Koller was married to Mary Koller by the Rev...", which would further support the idea of a Koller maiden name:
This page http://maley.net/transcription/Sketches/stecher_henry_g.htm gives a biography of the Rev. Henry G. Stecher, who was the pastor of "the Lutheran church at Loganville, York Co. from 1819-1830."
Randy Ruth from Friedensaal's very kindly sends me this excerpt from their church history book Hall of Peace:
At a meeting of the Ministerium in Baltimore, theology student Henry G. Stecker of Macungie, Pennsylvania, was given permission upon his return home to preach to congregations in York County following the resignation of the Rev. Herbst, Jr.. Stecker received a call to the charge of which Schuster's was a part of and assumed his pastoral work in 1819, but was not officially ordained until 1821. During his pastorate, the Rev. Stecker resided in Martinsburg (now Loganville). He ministered to eight congregations with a combined membership of 661. Following his resignation in 1831, there was a readjustment of the charge, comprised in 1833 of the Fissel's, Sadler's, Shrewsbury, Stabley's, and Schuster's congregations.
I also notice that at the page http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~vstern/fissels/fissels_church.htm Stecker is mentioned as an early pastor at Fissel's Church.
So, I would hypothesize that the Rev. "Steacher" mentioned in the family bible record corresponds to this Rev. Henry G. Stecher/Stecker who was the local Shrewsbury-area Lutheran minister at the time.
