Ray Differentials
-
This SIGGRAPH 99 paper entitled Tracing Ray
Differentials describes a novel algorithm for keeping track of an
approximation to a ray's footprint based on derivatives of the ray with
respect to the image plane. Among other things, this is useful for
texture footprint calculations in a ray tracer.
Graphics Architectures
This is the main project with which I am involved, which focuses on
interactive parallel API for interactive computer
graphics (SIGGRAPH 98), a texture
prefetching architecture that works in conjunction with caching
(Graphics Hardware 98), and a study of parallel texture caching (Graphics
Hardware 99)
Texture Replacement through Image Synthesis
This is an ICIP 1997 paper that came out of a final project for Stanford's
Psych 267
(aka CS 348D) class (which I took in Fall 1996).
Lucas Pereira
and I worked on this together, and we tied with another group for first place in
the course's final project competition.
Lacquered Guitar
This is my final project for Stanford's
CS348B
class, which I took in Winter 1995. It won me first place in the course
rendering competition.

- Guitar
Although I enjoy playing other styles, my current kick is Flamenco
guitar. Check out my favorite Flamenco Sites.
Or else, check out the home page I've set up for my guitar teacher
Mariano Córdoba.
