Silhouette Maps for Improved Texture Magnification

By moving the silhouette points to be on the discontinuity, we are effectively deforming the cells of the texture to better match the underlying image. Thus we get improved magnification, since we are really performing a piece-wise linear approximation of the underlying texture contours.
