I'm interested in Computer Graphics and Computational Geometry, and work with Tom Funkhouser and Vladlen Koltun. My research focuses on richer tools for 3D content creation, particularly for novice and casual users. This research is driven by a more abstract interest in shape understanding at both the structural and semantic levels (why is a model of a cow not one of a chicken, what parts of a cow correspond to those of a chicken, how does one morph a cow into a chicken, etc.). I also like rendering scenes with many billions of polygons in real time.
