I'm an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Stanford University, working in computer graphics and interactive techniques. I direct the
Virtual Worlds Group
in the
Computer Graphics Lab.
My research explores how computer graphics can support human creativity and enrich computer-mediated communication. My group develops new techniques for creating three-dimensional objects and environments, and for animating avatars in networked virtual worlds.
I joined Stanford after a doctoral program at Tel Aviv University and a postdoctoral appointment at UC Berkeley, both focused on theoretical computational geometry.
