Svetlana Lyalina: Mausoleum

I took this photo of the Stanford Mausoleum on a pretty bright day, so the ISO had to be kept low and the shutter speed relatively fast. I thought the original image was relatively boring, so I did quite a bit of post-processing with it. First, I made sure that it would fulfill the "no vanishing point" requirement and fixed the perspective to make the pillars parallel. I then cropped the image tighter around the main structure and converted it to black and white using the Channel Mixer function. To make the shot more dramatic I took out most of the blue channel, making the sky look dark and lending an eerie feel to the photo
