Assignment 2: Sports and Action

This photo was taken in my friend's room using dye and a vase. I set up a clear rectangular vase he had and placed it against the white wall of my room. I filled the vase with water and had my friend help me squirt drops of ink into the water while I stood ready to capture the action. I used a short exposure time of 1/30 in order to freeze the motion as well as a small aperture of f/5.6 and ISO 2000. In photoshop, I simply cropped the photo to remove parts of the vase that were visible and upped the contrast.
