Evan Shieh: Quiet Flower

Also meets requirement 4. I took this photo in the cactus garden, using my regular D5100 along with a extension ring borrowed from Rito. I used a large aperture to ensure shallow depth of field that would capture just the lone flower stem. Shutter speed was increased to reduce exposure, complementing the downtempo purple mood of the photo. I like how purple is a theme in both the background and the foreground, and how light green appears in splashes on both the smaller bulbs and the blooming flower.
