During the scene towards the end of the movie where the T-rex has a velociraptor in its mouth, there's a single frame where the velociraptor actually disappears. You can see it in this video

I'm wondering if anyone has an insight on why this might have happened for just 1 frame of the movie.


@xguo, oh that's pretty interesting to see. Maybe the reason that the velociraptor disappears is due to the way the geometry underlying the two dinosaurs is penetrating each other? Perhaps when the T-Rex bites into the velociraptor a particular swinging motion yields bad breaks in the geometry which could cause it not to be usable and so that dinosaur was not deemed renderable for that frame?
