= Homework 1 =

Some of the images I rendered on a vine box via ssh.  I was able to view the resulting EXRs directly using Preview on OS X, which also allowed me to adjust the exposure value.  Other images I rendered on a myth workstation, where I used a short shell script to render the image with {{{pbrt}}}, convert it with {{{exrtotiff}}}, and view it with {{{eog}}} in one go.  As recommended, I used a lower resolution and fewer samples per pixel while experimenting than I did in rendering my final submissions.
