Collision Detection Pages

Welcome to the Collision Detection Pages. This site is devoted to the topic of collision detection and motivated by the Collision Detection Seminar run by Prof. Leonidas Guibas at Stanford University. Collision among moving objects is a fundamental problem in many areas of Computer Science dealing with the physical world. Collision detection for geometric objects has been intensively investigated by researchers in robotics and motion planning, computer animation, CAD, and Computational Geometry. We hope to evolve this page so that it contains reasonably comprehensive resources on this topic. If you have something that you think relevant and would like to see it here, please let me(lizhang@cs.stanford.edu) know.
