Servings: Serves 2-3

Planning

Cut tofu into cubes and boil it in salted water for 1-2 minutes and then place in cold water until ready for use.

Slice beef into thin pieces and mix in 1 tsp baking sode and salt in a bowl. Set aside for 10 min.

Ingredients

Preparation

Wash off the baking soda from the beef and squeeze dry. Mix in 2-3 tbsp oyster sauce and 2-3 tbsp soy sauce (or use only 5 tbsp oyster sauce) and 1/2 tsp cornstarch with the meat.

In a wok, heat 2-3 tbsp oil on medium, saute garlic for 1 min, add green onions and saute for another minute. Stir in 1 tsp sesame oil to the meat and add it to the wok on medium high, stirring constantly. Stir fry until meat is medium (still just a little pink) then remove from wok into a bowl. Leave beef juices in the wok.

Add another 1-2 tbsp oil to the wok and add the tofu. Add soy sauce, a pinch of sugar, and salt to taste. Stir for 1 min and pour over the beef.
