Buffalo Wings

In a medium pot, simmer all the ingredients (except the wings), until the butter has melted.

Instead of frying the wings or baking with the sauce, place on a lightly greased pan and bake in a very hot oven (425 on the rack closest to the heat) for about 20 minutes on each side). Pour excess fat and mix with sauce, then bake another 10 minutes or so at 350 degrees (lower heat if necessary by keeping door open for a bit).

Serve with celery sticks and blue cheese dressing.

For the blue cheese dressing, mix 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese with 1/2 cup sour cream and 1/2 cup mayonnaise. Add salt if needed.
