This photo was taken of a house in San Francisco. I saw the bright purple flower which contrasted against the relatively non-vibrant paint on the house, and though that it would be good effect to further accentuate. The image was shot in aperture priority mode with F/5.0, ISO 100 and a camera-selected shutter speed of 1/250s. ISO 100 was chosen to minimize noise, and the choice of aperture was not very important to this photo. Using Photoshop, I converted from RAW an created a layer mask to desaturate all of the image except for the purple flowers. I made several other minor adjustments including adjusting exposure and using lens correction to remove keystoning of the house.
