The following images have been rendered using a Monte Carlo ray tracer that I have been developing over the years. Several of the images are somewhat dated, but they still illustrate the techniques (such as photon mapping and subsurface scattering). The rendering times have improved substantially since most of the images were rendered and as such the timings are quite conservative.
