Recent Professional Experience
|
- 2002-
- Assistant Professor at University of California, San Diego
I am doing research and teaching in computer graphics specializing
in realistic image synthesis, global illumination, rendering natural
phenomena, and appearance modeling.
- 1999-2002
- Research Associate at Stanford University
Derived new BSSRDF model for rendering translucent materials,
and developed techniques for rendering the night sky as well as
scenes with smoke and fire.
- 1998-1999
- Postdoctoral Associate at Massachusetts Institute of Technology
Developed subsurface scattering algorithm based on
photon maps, worked on weathering simulations,
city lighting and advanced material models.
