Happy Buddha

The Happy Buddha model was constructed in 1996 by Brian Curless and Marc Levoy using a technique they developed to create complex polygonal models from range scans (see their paper). The Happy Buddha, which started out as a 20 centimeter tall museum gift-shop trinket, was converted into a 1.1 million polygon model. Our rendering server renders this model.
