The assignment was relatively easy, with the exception of setting up pbrt on Gentoo Linux. I posted my installation method on PBRTInfo in case anyone needed it.
As for the actual tasks, most of it was trial an error, trying to estimate the exact position of the light source from the rendered images because the plan view wasn't very accurate. The second rendering took me a long time because I couldn't seem to render it without the neck and the ears, until I realized that a "rotate" command was missing. To render the last image, I simply recreated all 4 seperate lighting conditions, then merged them into one file.
