But we really tessellate the space into a lot of cubes and we have several scanners. We process the cubes one at a time, independently from others. For a given cube, we then try to label it with respect to all the views, one at a time. If any of the views labels a cube to be outside of the object, we don't need to consult other views, the cube is labeled out. If the cube is behind the data in every view, the cube is labeled inside. Otherwise, we label a cube to be on the object boundary.
