| This is a picture of pine trees at the Stanford Golf Course. It was quite early in the morning, so the sun shone from the side, accenting the roundness of the trees. I used f/8 to get moderate depth of field. The exposure time was 1/80 sec at ISO 400. The contrast in the morning was very high, so no post-processing was done to this picture except for cropping. |

| Andrew: The crop really makes the composition of this photo something special. Tree bark is a fascinating texture. Tree bark side-lit during the golden hour looks wonderful. Great photo. |
