Assignment 3: Macro Photography

Fon Kulalert: Stanford and the grass

This photo meets requirement 2: Focus on the midground, requirement 4: Plants, and requirement 5: Mad-made objects.

This photo was taken with Nikon 60mm macro lens. It was in front of The Center for Clinical Science Research (CCSR) in the medical school. It was actually a quite sunny day, but I do like the texture of the plate (opening the sewage tunnel, I believe) and the fact that it is not too shiny even with a lot of sunlight. No editing was done on this photo.

I measured the light on the plate, and used the auto mode for the white balance.
