After a two weeks of improving the VHDL and adding wiring to the board, we completed a the PD-PP. We were able to run all of the sample programs provided successfully, as well as running our homework code. The parallel port allowed us to quickly download all of the programs quickly to the board and execute them. The latched LEDs made it quite simple to see if the proper execution was occurring, either by monitoring the PC or one of the other registers.
