Fundamental Limits of Performance

We wish to explore the theoretical limits of performance in a MANET network. We are exploring how recent advances in the capacity / achievability regions in an interference channel can be applied to estimate MANET network capacity and scalability. Another study area is the use of network coding in MANET and the derivation of cut set bounds when the broadcast and interference aspects of wireless MANET are taken into account. We are also examining the role of multiple antennas in MANET performance limits. Our work will lead to better understanding of MANET scalability.
