Robust Coding and Transmission

We are studying different leverages that MANET nodes can use in transmission at the PHY layer. We are attempting to transport concepts developed in the most advanced 4G civilian networks - WiMAX and LTE, to a more complex and architecturally different MANET environment. We wish to understand how closed loop methods in 4G may work in MANET. We are also examining code book design for closed loop MIMO, to be adapted in MANET. We are also examining more efficient transmission power assignment to antennas to maximize efficiency.
